You've told us you want to see Government regulations restricting unhealthy food being advertised during times of day children are most likely watching. You also support regulations being introduced on how these products are marketed through other means such as social media and branding. The Parents' Jury will continue to advocate on this issue alongside public health bodies.
If you would like to take action on inappropriate junk food advertising by making an official complaint, visit Junkbusters or The Obesity Policy Coalition. Both these organisations make complaints on behalf of consumers.
In February 2012, our friends at Cancer Council NSW and Junkbusters launched the Fat Free TV Guide. Through highlighting the level of junk food advertising in Australia's most popular family television programs, this site gives parents information and a choice about which shows their children watch on TV. It also encourages you to use your voice and send your views on junk food ads directly to TV networks

We know you want to see the level of junk food placed at supermarket checkouts heavily reduced. We encourage you to take action at your local supermarket through writing to management.
