Campaign Statement

The Parents Jury is campaigning for food labelling that is consistent, informative, helpful and honest, to enable parents and children to make well informed decisions about the food they purchase and eat. Being able to easily read and interpret the information presented on the front and back of food packaging is an important step in making healthy choices.

The Parents Jury is urging the Government to mandate a single clear front of pack labelling system. Access to honest and clear ingredient and nutrition information is a basic consumer right.
