2010 Fame & Shame Awards nominations

Nominate now for the 2010 children's food marketing Fame & Shame Awards.

The Fame & Shame Awards are your opportunity to tell Australia's food manufacturers that you are fed up with unhealthy food and drink marketing aimed at children.

Using the form below, you can nominate a marketing campaign that promotes unhealthy food or drinks to children in an unethical or misleading manner. OR, nominate a food promotion that encourages healthy eating in a fun and appealing way, for the Parents' Choice Award.

You can nominate a marketing campaign in any of three award categories, or under no category at all:

  • The Shame Award for Pester Power for the food marketing campaign that you hate the most for encouraging children to nag for unhealthy foods.
  • The Shame Award for Smoke & Mirrors for the use of misleading claims on children's foods that make an unhealthy product appear healthier than it is.
  • The Fame Award for Parents' Choice congratulates a food marketing campaign that promotes healthy eating to children in a fun and appealing way.

You can nominate as many food marketing campaigns as you like, using a new form for each. We are taking nominations throughout 2010, with the winners to be announced at the end of the year.
