The Parents' Jury was launched online in August 2004 to provide an opportunity for parents to express their opions and advocate for improved children's food and physical activity environments at a local, state and national level.
The Parents' Jury is supported by Cancer Council Australia, Diabetes Australia – Vic, the Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society, VicHealth and YMCA Victoria. These organisations have provided financial, administrative and technical support to establish and maintain The Parents' Jury on an ongoing basis.
